Health Insurance Crucial for Managing Sector: Health Minister Poudel

Patan (Lalitpur): Minister for Health and Population, Pradeep Poudel, emphasized the importance of health insurance as a key tool for managing and improving the health sector. Speaking at an event organized by the Ganeshman Singh Memorial Hospital and Research Centre in Mahalakshmisthan on the occasion of the 27th Ganeshman Singh Memorial Day, Minister Poudel highlighted the potential of health insurance in providing effective healthcare services to citizens.
"We are working to implement health insurance at all local levels. While there are current managerial challenges, improvements can be made. The government has allocated 31 billion rupees to ensure health insurance services are provided through a unified, one-door system," Minister Poudel said.
He also paid tribute to late leader Ganesh Man Singh, describing him as an "iron man" who dedicated his life to the nation without seeking power or position.
